Chef Max Tucci (of Oscar’s Delmonico Steakhouse fame)
Born in New York City, New York, Max is the grandson of the famous Restauranteaur Oscar, of Oscar’s Delmonico, Wall Street. Currently, Max resides in New York City, Greenwich, Connecticut and Firenze, Italy.
Growing up, Max was exposed to a variety of personas that ultimately were instrumental to gaining access to many different influential people from the entertainment world such as models, agents, publicists, designers, as well as in music, film, and television, which resulted in long-term relationships and acquiring knowledge in each of these areas.
Max’s insatiable hunger for culture, fashion and lifestyle has awarded him appearances as an expert on Tyra Banks, America’s Top Model and WE’s, Young, Sexy &… to Gotham Magazine’s “100 Most Eligible Bachelors”.
Max was definitely blessed with a cultured lifestyle, from horses to world travel; and of course more importantly, learning how to cook in the infamous Kitchen of Delmonico's.
It was while in Florence, Max's love for food and the kitchen really blossomed. Upon his arrival back to New York, Max was featured on the TV show What's Cooking and his culinary career took off. He now is in the process of opening up another Oscar's Delmonico and has a Fine Food collection of Salad Dressing and Sauces being created.
Today, Max utilizes his radio show, formerly known as “2theMax” now “Max and Friends”, to promote his new ventures. He has partnered up with Daryl Dawkins, and filmed a new up and coming cooking show produced by Thunder and Lightning Productions, which is scheduled for 2010 release.
