THUNDER & LIGHTNING PRODUCTIONS DEVELOPS CELEBRITY COOKING SHOW FEATURING NBA GREAT DARRYL DAWKINS

Feb. 1, 2010. - West Palm Beach, FL based media company Thunder & Lightning Productions, LLC is looking to distribute a weekly celebrity cooking show, Cooking with Thunder & Lightning, featuring former NBA great Darryl “Chocolate Thunder” Dawkins to major television, cable and satellite networks.

The family styled cooking show is the brainchild of Executive Director, Rob Glazer, and will star former NBA showman turned Culinary Ambassador Darryl Dawkins and Chef Max Tucci of Delmonico Steakhouse fame. Celebrity guests from the Sports, Music, Arts & Entertainment industries will invite viewers into their homes as they prepare local culinary fare with Darryl and Chef Max.  “It will have the flavor of celebrity cribs with a dash of culinary flair”, said Glazer.

Glazer provided the following description of the show. “Each week we will go on location and visit a celebrity from a different city”,.  “Our film crew will capture the camaraderie between Darryl, Chef Max and the celebrity as they explore regional cultures and shop local markets for the freshest and healthiest of ingredients.  We’ll then invite viewers back for a tour of the star’s kitchen as they prepare local dishes and favorite recipes from the region”.

We want to capture "a day in the life of a celebrity", showcase his or her daily routines (ex: chores, shopping at the local market ... etc) and Show our audience that Celebrities are real people too, just like you and I.

Tag along with Darryl, Max and a celebrity guest as they sample bologna with the butcher, squeeze melons with the produce manager and shuck oysters with local fisherman.

According to Glazer, both Darryl and Chef Max have assembled a Rolodex of A-list celebrities, all of whom are excited to be a part of this project.  “We already have verbal commitments from a broad range of stars from the world of Sports, Music, Arts and Entertainment - all are eager to put on their apron and showcase their culinary skills”.

The production of this television show is part of Thunder & Lightning Productions, LLC and their vision to take this initiative to a national audience.  T&L Productions will begin pitching the show to national networks as of February 2010.
